Artist Statement:

When I look through a lens of a camera, the world seems to stop around me, causing me to focus on my surroundings. My heart begins to race, and I feel the urge to capture the moment. Our ambiance of everyday life is often so overwhelming and familiar, that others often disregard it. I have come to recognize that our society overlooks life’s every day beauties and treasures. The shadow of the tree in the park, the old barn on a quiet dirt road, or the gradient of colors across a lake from a sunset; there is so much natural beauty in our world, yet so little time is spent admiring the exquisiteness that surrounds our everyday life. By sharing my unique perspective of the world, I strive to bring my everyday life experiences into appropriate view for others.
